It’s a Western. Dude gets one side of his face all mangled, a la Two-Face, and then turns into a relentless lone crusader for the righting of wrongs, a la most every other hero in these movies ... but doesn’t it put a bit of a dent in the purity of one’s stance for truth and justice, when your crusading outfit consists of the gray fatigues of the Confederate States of America?
