A kid develops psychic superpowers, and then gets in big fights with other people who have psychic superpowers, who are all working for The Man and want to suppress anyone who isn’t.

The one cool part, as far as I can tell, is that the kid is Chris Evans, who nobody could tell back then would turn out to be as talented a leading man for action movies as he is.

The comic book is strictly a tie-in, not a source for the movie.
